On Friday evening, Vance Joy was playing live in Perth (FOR FREE). Scott and I decided we should go along for the atmosphere as live music always brings happy people and positive energy. It turns out everyone in WA was arriving at the city.. at the same time. Therefore spending forty five minutes looking for parking meant it would be too late to see Vance Joy.
After feeling disgruntled and a little disappointed, we ventured off into the city anyway, to find wine and hearty food. We ended up at a favourite we've been to before; The Bird. The outside area has been extended (which was much needed as finding a seat is usually near impossible). It was lovely sitting in an enclosed garden-like seating area with candles and trees surrounding bunches of people who were obviously thankful for the weekends arrival.
Sometimes plans change and you have to adjust, trust the flow and allow another sequences of events to unfold. Life is much easier when you develop the wisdom to trust the flow.. trust that everything is in perfect and divine order.
